Role Overview

We are seeking a commercially driven, hands-on Marketing Events Manager to lead activity across Let’s Go Padel and Let’s Go Hydro. This is a dual-role position, supporting a seasonal Hydro business alongside a year-round rapidly expanding Padel operation. The role requires someone who can think on their feet, execute quickly, and drive footfall, bookings, and engagement within a controlled budget.

Job Title: Marketing & Events Manager

Contract: Permanent Contract

Location: Based on Argento Head office, Browns, Leila Street, BT4, with regular travel to on-site locations working alongside Managing Director and Site Managers.

Hours of work: Full-time (40 hrs)

Salary: £36,000 to £40,000 DOE

 Key Responsibilities

  • Drive bookings, utilisation, and revenue across all sites
  • Plan and deliver events to increase engagement and footfall
  • Lead seasonal marketing activity for Hydro (peak season focus)
  • Support Drive-In Cinema (Halloween & Christmas)
  • Build partnerships with local businesses, corporates, and clubs
  • Actively sell the venue for group bookings, events, and social activity
  • Support individual Padel sites in building local communities and engagement
  • Work with influencer and social media agencies to drive reach and conversion
  • Create marketing campaigns with a focus on conversion
  • Track performance against targets and optimise activity

Experience & Skills

  • Proved background in marketing, events, leisure, hospitality, or sport
  • Experience driving footfall, bookings, or event-based revenue
  • Strong commercial mindset – understands revenue and performance
  • Confident pitching, selling, and building partnerships
  • Able to work with controlled budgets and deliver results
  • Proactive, hands-on, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
  • Hold a current, full clean driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • Right to Work in the UK

  • Increased bookings, utilisation & revenue across sites
  • Strong calendar of events and group bookings
  • Growth in community engagement across Padel sites
  • Improved off-peak performance and repeat customers
  • Successful delivery of seasonal Hydro campaigns

This role is focused on driving revenue, not just marketing activity.
